Hi zerotothemoon, it's a fact that Desktop Virtualization becomes a lot easier with V3 appliances and software but aren't you going a little too far assuming from here that the companies using V3 + Sphere3D will no longer need or want their own IT team?
Even with V3 + Sphere3D some companies will prefer a hybrid solution having some V3 computing capacity in-house and some in the Cloud, especially during transition to the Cloud.
Within a company environment would you see yourself as a non-IT person taking responsibility of the tasks referred to below?
a) Desktop Cloud Orchestration
b) Desktop Cloud Orchestrator Explanatory Video
c) Installation and Management of Glassware2.0 and desktop applications on servers
d) integration of the above a)b)and c) within an existing IT infrastructure

Most IT guys will welcome the simplicity and user-friendly features and understand they aren't becoming obsolete but their task becomes easier and more rewarding.
