I contacted Patrick Von De Wille at IDCC and vented my frustration. He was genuinely nice and polite, I was impressed on how he handled my call. He explained to me the reason the infrastructure deal didn't happen as expected was because it took longer to get the new corporation set up. So hopefully we will see that infrastructure deal before shareholders meeting. He said the sale of patents was off the shelf because the value of patents declined and that IDCC wasn't going to basically give them away.
He also and this is what my take on it not its a going to happen but my take was we may get a Samsung license. He felt pretty good about the expiration of the Apple license in June and hopes to get a new license and good quarterly revenues from either Apple of their manufactures.
Bottom line he and the company are disappointed in the stock price but feel like better days are ahead. I hope he is right.
