The powers that be ARE so stupid as to kill the "golden goose" (nice analogy!) and have been systematically doing so for a long time. The only reason metals haven't enjoyed true price discovery is the capacity of the powers that be to artificially influence the physical price with paper. It was a nice trick they should never have been allowed to pull in the first place.
Those powers are just like the little monkey in the famous psychology experiment who was given a choice of stimulating himself or feeding himself. The little monkey starved. So too go the powers that be. They will crash the GD system before they quit "stimulating" themselves.
That dent guy is is a liar, a dullard, and a hack. He doesn't believe the crap he's squirting. He knows better and spouts that chit anyway, in hopes of influencing any dupes gullible enough to believe him.
His Ver(gar)bage is just one more "brick in the wall" in the steady diet of stories and headlines that re-enforce negative public sentiment around metals prices. That disinformation goes hand in glove with the periodic "smash" that gets administered as "necessary."
He's not even good enough to join Jon Nadler, Jeff Christian, and Dennis Fartman, as the fourth stooge of gold forecasting. Perhaps he can join Bloomberg and CNBC in vying for the coveted title of the 4th "stooge in waiting LoL! "
