So I went to the Meriden, CT Best Buy and Circuit City tonight. I have Sirius "Sportster" for my car. Got it in august. I wanted to get the Boombox for my home and both CircuitCity and BestBuy in Meriden were out of Boomboxes. They both mentioned that they could not keep the boombox on their shelves.

Both stores had both Sirius and XM satelite units on display and ready for sale.

Now, XM satellite had their boomboxes on display at both stores. Either they did not sell well, or they got a recent XM shipment of boomboxes.

Earlier today, I also went to a local car electronics installer in waterbury, CT, called "Planet Hi-Fi", and they sell and install Sirius. They were out ALL Sirius receivers. They did haver periphals for sale (ie. the executive and boombox home docking stations). The guy at the store said they sold out of their units. They couldn't keep them on their shelves.

bottom line, Howard was a huge draw and this stock should fly in early 06.
