Maybe Ok for CONUS operations but I would hate to have one on a device I have to tow around the battlefield. Some idiot Spec 4 leaves the tracker on and someone hacks the signal and follows you around--or sends you a guided message! Still, it was probably omitted for weight reasons, even ounces can give you more tether length. Still good idea for non-combat situations--maybe an option? I still wonder about the cut down device--I think it was GPS geo-fenced. I think we will have to wait a while for this story--it will be an Army investigation. IndyJonesOhio
