All you folks who have posted since my last 2 messages are really uptight and not thinking straight.
I thought Topol's blog provided good evidence, together with NEJM article, that plain ol' fish oil ain't going to do any good for ameliorating/preventing CV events.It does no better than olive oil, part of a Mediterranean diet.
The recommended dosages of Vascepa[2x2/day] may well be different---certainly not to be equated with fish oil. It may be Dr. Topol is not yet aware of Vascepa or at least has no direct experience with it as yet. He does not equate fish oil with Vascepa, does he?
