Some days it's hard to believe that the House Republican leadership is not being paid off by Osama bin Laden. Don't act shocked.

Yesterday the Chickenhawk Republican ledership Swift-Boated a Marine Veteran and Hero, Congressman Murtha, because he had the temerity to call for a phased withdrawal from Iraq, since the war has become a quagmire run by incompetents. The Grand Hypocrisy Party rigged a vote by rephrasing his proposal for withdrawal as a political stunt!

Democrats were running down the House aisles yelling, "shame!" As well they should have.

The only people rejoicing at the anti-American activities of the Republican leadership are their Stepfod, Kool-Aid drinking base -- and Osama bin Laden. Because Osama is still at large, thanks to the ineptitude of "Baby Doc" Bush, and enjoying seeing how the Republican Party is doing everything that they can to increase the number of terrorists available to bin Laden, while sending our soldiers to killing fields and bankrupting America.

And the Republican Party leadership does prove Osama true about one other thing: they are morally bankrupt.
