The American public knows what is going on - it shows in the poll numbers where GWB's disapproval rating is at 60% and a majority of the American public do not trust GWB to tell the truth. You can't govern when the people do not believe you are not truthful - no matter how much spin you put on your stories or no matter how much you bash ANYONE who DARES to question GWB's war.
Sending a freshman House of Rep member onto the House floor to bash Rep Murtha because he DARED to challenge this admin's handling of the Iraqi war has backfired, and it showed this admin and the Rep majority is desperate.
GWB is a lame duck president already and he's only one year into his second term.
GWB has been a disaster for the Reps.
