Sounds to me like the Kirby area and Ken Rose issues are not part the trial, nor anything attached to it. This trial is simply whether Jay owes Kim Fisher some money as reimbursement for his legal efforts. That itself sounds like Judge King feels sorry for the Fishers, and is trying to get them some money.

Furthermore, none of the questioning concludes that the gems came from anywhere specifically, so that remains a huge question mark. Who gets them then? Obviously Jay stuck his foot in his mouth when he stupidly said he tried to get the best deal on an admiralty claim.

Silverstein takes the stand. That should sway opinion. He likely steered most of this, and Jay must be unaware of much, as in, he simply never wanted the details, as he could never answer a question. Lucky man, I guess, playing dumb.
