Not trying to be contrary either, but I still have strong doubts about the market for FRP rebar - it is a specialized product in a very blue-collar part of the industry. In my experience rebar often needs to be cut and/or bent in the field to accommodate mistakes or changed conditions. Won't this be a problem with FRP bar?
That said clearly you know more about this subject than I do. Are you sure it can be made from recycled plastic? Have you seen cost comparisons for the material detailed and installed?(sorry if it is in one of the linked articles - I haven't read them all) Does Plasticon make FRP products.
