Sorry - I don't know the answers. All I know is that they are doing something. And it's called 'plastic rebar' - everything else is conjecture. I assume they use recycled plastic but don't know for sure. As they make their plastic lumber from recycle it looks feasible for rebar. But the strength is an important factor and so is the bending ability, if any. Until I see and study the patent I'll be in the dark with everyone else. The company sure isn't talking!
