Oh my yes! They said at that NYC conference broadcast that the plastic rebar research program was about 80% (I think) completed. So they are seriously involved in this.

I'm not just saying this to be contrary to your view but I think this plastic rebar - when successfully fully developed and patented - will be the primary, biggest selling, and biggest money maker for us relegating everything else to 2nd place. At that NYC conference they displayed a piece of the stuff and it was explained to me as being about cigar shaped in size and elongated like rebar is.

It can't be bent on site but it can be made to whatever shape is desired when formed.

Steel rebar will always have a place - they use 1000s of tons of it every year. But plastic rebar will eat into that supply I have no doubt at all. And our cost for raw material is minimal - recycled plastic!

Never hear a thing about it from the company - that bothers me a little.
