While it's clear the charade has ended...

Monk always struck me as vain enough that he would still seek the image of innocence in the eyes of his followers... especially those who still reside in their peculiar state of delusion.

No, he'll go through the process and when convicted -- which he most certainly will be -- he'll claim victimhood to a misguided governmental enforcement authority, whether SEC, DOJ -- or both.

My one hope is that once convicted, he'll roll on those who aided and abetted in consideration of a leniency. There are a couple of his lieutenants who really piqued my ire in their behavior here and elsewhere; which is why I've maintained an eye on this saga despite the fact I never touched any of the FLD plays as I found the scheme obvious from the outset...
