Apple sold 35 million iPhones last quarter and could sell closer to 50 million in the December quarter with the new iPhone.
It would be a hugh advantage for Apple to be able to use Liquidmetal for the casing/antenna/speakers of the new iPhone over its competitors ..... whether Apple has setup that kind of manufacturing in Asia with Foxconn.....or if it's cost effective is the big question.
Something is going on but it could still be years away before Apple uses Liquidmetal.
