In the article above, when Mark Sankovitch, the president of Engel when discussing liquid metal in an interview, said all-electric injection molding machines are used.I believe this is their first all-electric machine.

Also, the Piovan hopper appears to be custom. I can't find anything on it. They'd be a good choice for a material handling solutin.

2 minute cycle times are possible.

What is Apple using this for? It's not the iPhone case. It's not cost effective enough. Last I checked, ~18M iPhones are sold a quarter. Think about the size and cost of the production floor that would be required to hit that volume. The name of the machine leads me to believe it has to do with the Mac. IMHO it has to do with either a battery, antenna, or some other solution which will allow for an increase in preformance. I'm also thinking it has to be a component small enough so that several can be made by a single cycle with minimum if any post processing.

However they use it, I'm very curious in how management handled the extension. I do believe they have leverage on Apple, I just hope they knew how to use it.

It seems there is a machine which is production capable now.

Why is the agreement not being published?

Where the sales?

What are the results of the evaluations?

Who are the customers (aerospace, industrial, and specialty electronics).

Why is this being held back?

I can't believe anyone would short this stock right now. It's sitting at the bottom of a nicely increasing trade channel and anyday could really explode. Buy on all dips. Good luck to all longs!
