Off the top of my head, a study showing that the drops do not damage the inside of the mouth. A study showing the drops are capable of delivering an effective dose. They may even have to start with an animal study showing what a lethal dose of the drops will be. Beyond that there are strict quality control and production requirements that would have to be met. Getting into pharmaceuticals, even over the counter meds, is a relatively painful process compared to producing and releasing supplements.
