You are correct Loji, of course its on the tape.
In addition, in a previous web cast, he also stated that they would definitely renew the NCIB when it expires an continue to buy in steady quantities, as long as the stock was so greatly undervalued, and the had the surplus cash to invest. It has been reaffirmed in several of the conferences in the last year also.
I recently saw all of the re-bar work underway for the installation of the 4th ball mill. A lot of trenching and pouring of concrete at the sight. Lazaro said he could have the unit operating within 45 days of its arrival in port. So it should be ready about the middle of June. All of the other supporting equipment, conveyors, pumps, tanks, engines, etc. are in place. This is a big expansion and installation, which of course no one here understands or appreciates.
In like manner no one seems to understand the interrelationship of the crushing and heap leaching operations. We are being overwhelmed with clueless, trite, ill conceived comments. Other than it being a foolish joke that brings one to chuckle, I don't think IH has any effect on the share price. The stock is heavily manipulated and some are, as you mentioned, making serious money milking the lemmings.(Can you milk a lemming?) Very qualified engineers are on the site 24/7 and know exactly what they are doing.
I believe that there are now nine research firms following the company, and every one of them is expecting the stock to at least triple from current levels over the course of the next few months. Maybe they are all wrong, but I believe with a perfect consensus that is the way to bet. Moaning and groaning without any thought or analysis really accomplishes nothing. Like the remark about bringing ore to 'gold rich' Panama implied as absurd. A lot of thought and education must have gone into that remark, especially since a research brain trust, experts in mining, and with a great reputation put, the idea forward and everyone with a modicum of education, knowledge, and experience thinks it will be a big step forward and, advance the production from LP by eighteen months.
Although it pains me to do so, I must say that I agree with Jal. The missing of these projected numbers seems to hurt the retail share price. Large stakeholders and institutions with expertise, along with the mining research groups, really just pass it off as growing pains, since it is not germane to reaching brass plate production. However, when you have the people manipulating the share price,as the Gods looking down on earth in the Greek Tragedies, combined with the clueless lemmings, the volatility of the share price is exacerbated.
Those who can read the music, and play the tune, are making some serious money in the short term. Unfortunately my friends in the states keep complaining that 'mother' IRS treats those short term gains as regular income and taxes them to death. No problems with that in Panama. Some of the folks would love to see the SP hit $0.25-0.30 again to make another killing. I doubt it will go that low again, but they will try to push it down. With the help of the clueless, they may get there.
What is important is that this has grown into a very sound company, and a very profitable one. Our margins are excellent, and our growth is steady, albeit not as consistent as some would like. So the little guys rail against the moon like some forlorn coyote, and strike out at anyone and everything like a rabid dog. Really sort of pitiful when you think about it, as I'm sure our soon to be PHD in the field must know. All in good time...sleep well for another year or so. Like with All State, you are in good hands with this management team. As VB likes to say, the caravan is steadily moving and the little barking doggies will be left behind in the desert dust. They are kind of cute, but I would not take a stray home.....
