ABT’s pharma successor company will be called AbbVie (gulp):

The diversified medical products successor company—which will include medical devices, diagnostics, nutritionals, and generic drugs (including branded generics in emerging markets)—will continue to be called Abbott.

The separation of the two companies is expected to occur by the end of 2012.
