Mountain-West tries to have Amarillos 1-3000 claims struck
Mr. Brent Johnson reports
AMARILLOS 1-3000, PASCUA TO BARRICK GOLD - ABX IN PERIL
Mountain-West Resources Inc. has made a filing that has been accepted by the judicial powers of Chile. In a summary citation, the titleholder of Amarillos 1-3000 was requested on Jan. 27, 2012, to attend proceedings initiated by Jorge Lopehandia's legal team in Chile. The purpose of this procedure is to have the Amarillos 1-3000 claims, filed in 2011 as owned by Barrick Gold Corp. at the Securities Exchange Commission and the Ontario Securities Commission, struck from the register. This is Barrick's main property on the Chilean side of Pascua Lama.
The reader should keep in mind that the Amarillos 1-3000 claims are strictly salt and nitrate claims. These claims cannot be mined for gold, silver or copper.
