It would seem that the States and the Federal laws ought be consistent, since we are all one nation. Laws in general should not conflict eachother in the broader sense and all levels should be working together to a mutual conclusion, thats the real concern for Ameicans when states do not write the same laws as the Fed and when the Fed steps on the toes of the states which create their own laws.

Its a real mess that no one talking much about and is the crux of the matter. The Marjane is secondary to the main point.
