It makes more sense than this from the original post:(msg 1511)

* A miss is as good as 1.1 kilometers.

The premise of the original joke was using the metric equivalents of common sayings involving english measurements. ie:"A miss is as good as a mile" was written with the wrong metric equivalent of a mile, which I anally corrected and upon which you even more anally commented.
