If I have a computer and start seeing the BSOD or someone brings me a computer thats does the same my first thought is just do a fresh install....or factory restore then whalla....computer is back to what it was when it was new......

Try doing a factory restore before you try anything else....check your PM for instructions....if that procedure does not work then you might want to check out the toshiba web site to see what steps apply to your machine.

And you might want to see if there is a way to make a set of system restore disks from files on your hard drive. The computers you buy now do not come with disks containing the system OS/Drivers and system restore stuff....they are on the hard drive and in the instructions you get with your new computer it tells you to make a set of system restore disks.

But most people don't read the material that comes with their new puters...they just turn them on and get on with things until theres a problem....then when they can't make a set of recovery disks they start yelling Help....lol
