Thanks Cowboy!

I really don't know what to think anymore.

I have a blue screen on boot up about once every three or four tomes, and almost a different message every time. If I let it boot up normally in Windows it does.

Last night I was watching The Big Game and as the streaming video froze I rebooted this time I got a
0X0000000 which is supposed to be pretty lethal except it seems to apply to Windows XP.

I did a registry defray and it rebooted fine as it did this morning.

So either I have virus which I believe to be unlikely as the laptop is well protected, a need for driver update but I don't get the same message every time anymore or possibly a corrupt registry from incomplete uninstall ( though I use Revo but again I had a blue screen once while doing uninstalls as I thought maybe I had too many virus malaware protection).

What a mess! I have a bad feeling this machine will never be the same again.

I have started shopping for a new laptop in case I have to buy one fairly quick.

Thanks Cowboy!!
