If ya like salsa, here's an authentic Mexican recipe. You'd probably want it much hotter. Everybody who's ever had it says it's the best. Neat for those little Dorito scoop thingys.


Mexican Picante Sauce

Simmer on low for minute or two; then, refrigerate to completely cool:
32 oz. Tomato Sauce
1 – 2 Tomatos (diced finely)
3 Tomalios (diced finely)

Add these ingredients to above. Refrigerate over night.
1 small Onion (finely diced)
1/8 c. Cilantro (or much more!)
1 small can Green Chilis
1 tsp Vinegar
½ tsp Sugar
Some fresh Garlic diced very finely
½ - 1 Japlapeno Pepper (cooked first, then diced)
1 Lime (juice, to taste)
Salt & Pepper

Next day, it will have gelled up in refrigerator. Add water to consistency desired. Flavors intensify over night too.
