It actually worked OK before the deletions with the firewall open. The problem that I had was that I had to go thru about 5 steps to get to the Scottrader platform verses only one. Thats when I made contact with Scottrade and they had me make the deletions after which the problem of not being unable to access the platform developed. The only difference that I see is that the JAVA update #26 was added. I still think its an issue with Scottrade platform and the new update but if thats the case I sould not be the only one having problems. They blame in on either 1. my ISP which all ports are open that they require 2. My firewall which we have removed. The unknown yet is MS Essentials of which Don says if I understood corrrectly does not have an exception list (except one that list programs you do not want to scan) nor a firewall.
