Or then again, it may be the bulls screaming for the 700 level <gg>. I understand your point though. Many folks tend to hang on to what has been working and are reluctant to change.

("Guilty, Your Honor" - in 2000, I waited until it became clear we were in more than just a correction and did not catch the top. But since then, I have had plenty of time to make up for that mistake.)

Sometimes, the need to shift gears is obvious (as it was in late September after the post 9/11 mini-crash.) I have an idea that this bear will not be that way at the final bottom, which I still think will come from sheer exhaustion, with different sectors bottoming at different times but with no "V" bottoms anywhere. There will be no rush to catch the bottom so there will be plenty of time to work your way back in.

Just my guess at the moment, though.
