Your points are well- taken. However, in today's regulated highly-litigious climate I don't blame them for being unduly cautious in what they say. The old saying, "Everything you say can be used agaginst you in a court of law," was never truer than in this situation. Their caution is the reason they won't consider the deal done until the money is in the bank and the checks have cleared. That's when the fat lady sings.
