Olddog, the other factor in this timing is that one of the judges asked both parties that if they were willing to make any of the confidential information in their briefs non-confidential, then they should refile new briefs. Who knows if that has even happened yet. I looked on the PACER website, and it looks like the ITC had a recent filing, but nothing from IDCC or Nokia. If that has yet to happen, then I think we would be lucky to see anything within 90 days of the oral argument. I wish it was different, but it isn't. I would love to think that Nokia will settle within this time, but unless the new CEO has a drastically different agenda, I'm sure the legal team is saying the same thing they have all along. No reason to pay until the court tells us we have to. As I understand it, even if IDCC wins this round, there still could be a lenthy process involved before Nokia was forced to pay or stop using the technology. Let's just hope that the new management has a different approach to licensing technology.
