What stocks to own from the bottom? Well I think you could use options on the large caps to maximize profit return, buy some small caps and let them run.

I will be looking for stocks that are down 400% from previous cycle highs. I expect that stocks like AMKR, ASYT, CAMD, KLIC, LTXX, SSTI, SWIR and perhaps VTSS and many others will be candidates for some of my funds. But I don't know for sure now what I will buy and will not select anything for a while as a long term trade.

As for missed profits? I just don't want to lose anything. I have sold some long term holdings the last couple of years and my trading account is up over 200%. If I can catch the next two cycles, like I think I can, I'll be able to retire in 2012 and never have to worry about money again.

That's my hope anyway.
