You are funny dnet, you said "You also assume that the providers can make a couple of changes to equipment to make things faster, you might want to read up on networks and how they work, lots of $$$ and time involved." I have to say maybe it is you who needs to do some reading. It is quite easy to adjust bandwidth to an end user device, and is done all the time. I have been "reading up" on networks for over 20 years now as it is my profession. I am sure they have bandwidth they keep in their pocket and a slight change to the configuration of equipment, a change of a value in the software and like magic there is more bandwidth. Recently Comcast made headlines by throttling certain types of application traffic to their customers, if it can be done by application, imagine how easy it is to do it by connection! How do you think MDGC is going to be able to connect all these high speed users to the Internet? Now setting that up is where the "lots of $$$" you speak of come in, well one of the places anyway. If a communication giant would be having these facility constraints you speak of, and they spend billions and billions of dollars on equipment, how is MDGC ever going to get there solution to the market? Young users buy the newest product on the market, and now it is 4G, whether it meets the 4G specs people keep citing or not.
