Somehow I think differently. I don't see Sam Lee as any kind of businessman. I think he is simply a brilliant engineer. I don't even think he understands business very well, something Americans and American culture has a real genius for. He maybe is being influenced by ruthless, Korean-centric businessmen, I'll grant that. That seems plausible. I however think his main motivation is fear, in protecting his baby, the Bioharp, and being assured massive, perhaps quick profits.
I've not seen any argument or evidence that suggests Lee and legal team can win. In a case of clear breach, it will look like the People's Court, or any judge show, if you ever watched, where the judge doesn't have too much patience for it, when one party is wronged. My guess is Lee's lawyers are pressing other issues, and doing it now, as their case may weaken, going forward.
