I've seen several posters say that this company is always ultra conservative. When I looked at PY press releases regarding earnings, the company came in the range of what they had forecasted for FY08. Look back at the 3rd quarter 08 earnings release. They guided for revenues in the $84-$90M range --- revenues for the year came in at $87.5M. They guided for income in the $20-23M range --- earnings came in at $22.4M for the year. Don't get me wrong, I hope they are being conservative - and it would appear to me that they probably are to some extent given that they are only guiding for 100M in revenues for 09 and as of 6/30 they already have $53.2M - also guiding for profit of $27M when as of 6/30 they already have $15.5M. Given that many reasonably expect the second half of 09 to be stronger, it is reasonable to assume they are being conservative and that they will beat their guidance --- however, in recent history, I haven't seen a history of them being ultra conservative.
