It's not that I think Texas is going to fall apart, In fact they will probably win 90+ games. Just I think the Red Sox will win 95+ and the Yankees Will win 100+. Now if someone didn't have to make the playoffs in the AL Central, this wouldn't be a problem, as those teams would be lucky to see 88 wins. But every year you get at least one team that doesn't deserve to make the playoffs, that does, and that is a major weakness of divisional play. And as you can tell I think the best 4 teams of each league should make the playoffs regardless of division. You can't have divisional play when you only let 8 teams in, because that sets up letting in the 83 win team, and not letting in the 90 win team how is that fair? Just my opinion.
