You're right, I think right now, at this second in time, the Middle East isn't as safe as it was before. However, like any conflict, things must get worse before they get better. Like in WW2, nobody would say the world was a safer place in 1942. But it was the actions of our troops and others throughout WW2 that brought about peace and security.

Peace doesn't come for free, as we can see throughout the history of our nation and the wars we've fought.
