"You keep blaming ANVH when you should just blame yourself. You have invested in a Pink Sheet stock, pure gambling and have no one but yourself to blame, not the company."
You have apparently misread my post, so I will restate what I said. I blame ANVH for this mess. I said nothing about the value of the stock.
Besides, last time I checked... if I left my keys in my car... and someone stole it... I'm not the one that goes to jail. I may be a fool. But I am not the thief. I'm not a lawyer.. but I think that's how the law works.
Regardless, ANVH works for you and I and all other stockholders. They answer to us and need to keep us informed and avoid mistakes. If they can show that they did their jobs correctly, fine. But right now, in my opinion, they are negligent and need to step up. My boss expects me to do my job, I expect the same from Dr Fisher.
"You got into ANVH for pure greed "
LOL.. that's a cute statement! I guess most people get into stocks as just a form of donation. Or tax write offs. Or their piggy banks are full and need somewhere else for their money. My bad! I thought the point of stocks was to make money. Not just to have something to look at on the internet.
"..and now that it isn't going the way you want, they are the first to blame, not anyone else."
Actually, it wasn't going the way I want when the stock dropped below my buying price, I was to blame. When it went WAY down, I was to blame. I knew buying and selling is my responsibility (also as per 4kids!). Then ANVH announced a dividend. HHmmm.. (computing in my head) OH, that would make ME to blame double the number of times as ANVH. And I even took the first 2 hits.
"When the term gambling is removed from the trade, and the house now controls the game, then it's no longer gambling but a fixed game, like using loaded dice."
That's funny you say that. I explained to my brother that technical trading is like playing blackjack where the 'House' encourages card counting!
Interesting what you imply about the DTC. I may look into that just for understanding. But are you saying that Scottrade might not be doing anything illegal? That the DTC may have more 'arbitrary power' then people know about?
About the whole greed thing. I don't question peoples motivations about buying this or any stock. That's their business. But I will tell you that I go the stock to better my families life and hopefully mine as well. Not to get more toys, but to someday help pay for college. Not to buy myself a fancy car, but help me retire someday. If that's greed, so be it.
So instead of me asking you why you bought the stock, I'll just repeat my earlier question... what would Scottrade benefit by holding your stock??
