That only works JB if you make the share that you borrowed from me without my permission, un-tradeable until you return it afer using it.

Unless you LOCK the share borrowed from being tradeable then you have the original 10 shares PLUS the one you borrowed (created) from my shares and sold to joe now out in the market until you buy it back and return (uncreate) it.

WOW when I look at it that way it does look like a scaled down version of the naked short theory of (created) shares.

Oh well.

This was fun and we can continue it at a later date, family wants dinner and a movie. And that is an arguement I don't even try to win. :)
