willyBo reducing the A/S by the same multiple as the reverse split is common practice.
If you reduce the O/S by a lutliple of 1000 then you reduce the A/S by a multiple of 1000.
The cash is raised by selling fewer shares at higher prices not by selling billions more as that would collapse the share price. But when dealing with subpenny trash there is no way to fluff up a higher share price and make it attractive to potential investors so the pps normally tanks immediately to presplit levels.
