SIRI - if the merger news come out. (if it gets approved)
Scenario 1 - The hype and news will get SIRI IMO to $4 or a bit higher. But remembers SIRI will have to pay for XM shareholders. In other words Sirius will have to give about 4 shares of Sirius for each XM share.
So IMO It will go up 50-100% within 2 days. But then it will come down as more information comes on the merger and how SIRIUS will pay for it.
As for right now, according to the chart is getting close to the resistance at the high 2.20's can it break that? Or will it come down again until the merger gets announcer one way or the other.
Many say Satellite radio will die, I personally don't think so. SIRI/XM once merge will become a company in the BLACK for once. But, that will take 2-3 years before we see it take effect. What will the PPS be between there?
If you look at the weekly chart IMO it will tell us where we are headed. IMO is up, especially with the merger.
Scenario 2 - Everyone knows the merger is coming, so another thing that can happen is that SIRI takes a dive to $1.50 despite the merger news. I have seen MM's do that and shorting the heck out of them. After that huge scare, it will rise fast and big.
Scenario 3 - NO MERGER and it goes below a $1
