"get to the CD without running it" versus...
"get to the CD driver properties without a CD disk inserted in it"
I clicked on the Computer icon on my desktop,
then did a "right mouse click" on CD-RW Drive(D:) with no CD inserted in it
then clicked on Properties,
and now don't know if these settings "stick"
