well yes ive heard the explanations of how everything including anyone whistling dixie in their shower is competition to sat rad..i just dont happen to buy all of it...i doubt the feds will either...but maybe they will buy enough of it...i have my doubts..

as for the fcc waiting on the doj, i have my doubts that is true as well..many people keep saying that is whats happening but i dont believe they have to wait for for the doj..

kevin martin can be a proponent of whatever he chooses but i dont think he needs to approve the merger to "further his agenda"...and he has less need to set a precedent..though i can see how many would like to think this is so....it certainly would further their agenda..

i imagine there are probably many people here who also believe mel has mishandled the process..they are shy to say so right now...but if the merger fails to gain approval, they will be coming out of the woodwork..

and yes, mel has much to do with the delay...if the merger passes, it will be in spite of him imo...
