INTERESTING COMMENTS...AND...

I would offer all the board this info....It's a knock against AMERITRADE....My actual experience follows....

To remove the restrictions...$240...They do all the "work"...
To have the share certificate sent to me....$40...
I chose to have the shares sent to me as I can handle the detail myself and I resent the charges...
So then, don't get sucked in by the balloons and whistles of Ameritrade's adds...Lots of BS fees etc....

Now , of course, one would wonder why you would keep an account there ... Well, it's a matter of learning by the actual experience just exactly who they are ....Once known, you can move elsewhere, and that is what I most probably will do...
