Arrrrgggghhhhhh!

OK, OK, OK!! How do I stop Norton and/or Excel from "requesting virus scan" everytime I open an existing spreadsheet on my computer?

I've gone to NSW then Options then Antivirus, then "scan files using smart scan", then customize, then removed everything that even looks like an .xls, wks, wk? extension.

Should I remove .exe from the list?
