It would be interesting to track that allocation of Equity/Cash over time and see how it relates to Appreciation Potential.

In our case, we have a plan for the cash, but in theirs, it's mainly a safety valve.

I see in their Selections and Opinions section there's a nice graphic of the Appreciation Potential over the last decade or so. Good correlation to market risk from what I can see. It's a log scale graph, so is a bit hard to read.

Also on Page 4450 there's a graphic of US New Home Sales for the last 6+ years. It tells the Bubble Story quite well. It appears to be a long, slow grind to get to the bottom. We're now at an annualized unit number below what it was in 2001.
