I'm in the software industry, so Ive never been happy about jobs going to India
that's exactly the industry I was thinking of...along with engineering and most recently video production...and who knows what else...
and now we've opened to Mexico....
I feel we are turning into a service country and outsourcing the jobs from our thoughts to other countries...
my point is....the market was running, with each piece of bad news it retreated a little, when the job figures come out it plummets....and our job situation has not improved and IMO doesn't stand a chance to improve....we've sent all our mfg jobs overseas (we are not an entire college educated population yet nor will we be so you have your grocery jobs going to our newly arrived guests from other countries, eg, Dunkin Donuts here is primarily staffed with Brazlian folks from what I see, we have our recruited scientists from India, since we haven't grown our computer expertise to the emerging nations as we would have under Gore we are eliminating jobs there by the 000's....
we have an older traditional administration who don't have the expertise to create new jobs and challenges for our country so I fear very strongly that what folks are seeing now is only going to multiply as long as this traditional, non technological administration is in place......
therefore each shock report coming out that impacts the economy (as this one with 1000 new jobs????????) is going to continue to impact the economy....and how can you hide it...the figures speak for themselves....
again, I hope I'm wrong but folks here can see their unemployed friend not being able to return to their areas of expertise....
Under Gore there was a money to back your mouth situation called jobs....today we have nothing to offer our US folks...
because the administration is out of the 50's
