Agrred skunk, but economists still believe that it will open up the avenue for more jobs here, Im a firm believer in specialization, and as the economy becomes a global economy, there will also be those things that we do much better than others, one are the auto industry, I have always been one to say, OK the US was not mean to have great automakers, I dont like saying it but its true, and I never buy an American car, my parents always did, and they always had problems with them, Ive had 2 Nissans Maximas in my lifetime, the first I had for 8 yrs (was still fine with 165K on it when I traded it in), and my current which Ive had for 7 1/2 yrs, with about 160K on it, still going strong.

I'm in the software industry, so Ive never been happy about jobs going to India, but a good part of the problem is our own fault, kids these days would rather be partying than learning high tech, so there is no choice, not enough people here to meet the demand, 3/4 of those I work with are Indian, and that's because they can get the job done, and not many others willing to do it.
