IMO, your term "back room negotiations" means "hiding something." That's why I suggested both were true.

Keeping in mind we don't yet know if TA is officially gagged, assume for a minute they are:

Why does a company gag its transfer agent? The only answer I know: dilution.

In these situations, it is VERY common for the shorted corp to cut a deal privately with the shorts, pumping freshly minted cover shares out the back door and taking the money themselves.

While there are other possible explanations, this one is the simplest, reinforced by the fact the company would certainly not want its shareholders to know they were settling/diluting privately. This would be an excellent reason to gag the TA.

I've been around long enough to know what goes on behind the closed doors of the OTC. I'm sorry if you don't like it, but a healthy dose of suspicion has paid off time and again. We are the very last on the food chain. When there's money involved, it's a safe bet the insiders and fat cats will get it before we do.


Good stocks are obvious. Extensive DD is how you convince yourself to buy a bad one.
