Well, it sounds like progress on a deal to re-open the Strait, while they continue to negotiate nuclear and other aspects. Let's hope Trump gets a deal, and the Hormuz traffic normalizes. It's been blocked for 3 full months, and will take some additional months to get past the 'flow gap' void, so figure 5-6 months total. While this has thrown a major wrench into the global economy, and spiked inflation, hopefully it's not a full worldwide recession.
As Rubio admitted, Israel was the main culprit in pushing Trump to attack Iran. Netanyahu's likely replacement will be Naftali Bennett, who sounds like a carbon copy of Bibi. But hopefully the US / world get a respite from the Middle East lunacy for a while. The Ukraine war might also be winding down soon (?), since there appears to be no way for Russia to stop Ukraine's drones and missiles.
As with the US / Iran, the paradigm of warfare seems to be fundamentally changing, with large countries no longer able to defeat smaller countries if they have a big arsenal of drones / missiles. What could change that in the future would be the development of defensive laser systems that can efficiently knock down drones / missiles, and at very low cost.
