Based on that last article, Trump won't be going to his son's wedding in the Bahamas this weekend, and "some members of the military and intelligence communities canceled their Memorial Day weekend plans". So it sounds like the war could resume this weekend.
It sure looks like a no win situation, since the Iranian's response will be to plaster the Gulf States oil / gas infrastructure, requiring years to rebuild. So the Persian Gulf oil / gas flow doesn't return to anything like normal for over a year? That's a disaster, and guarantees a global recession. But the alternative is to leave Iran dominating the Gulf, with the 'toll booth', etc. Either way we're screwed.
The mistake Trump made was in starting this war at all. Last June we had already destroyed Iran's nuclear program, with the bunker buster bombing of Natanz and Isfahan. But that wasn't enough for Bibi.
