Lykiri, I'm somewhat surprised (and concerned) that Joel's family is having to seek funds via GoFundMe for Joel's treatment with DCVax-L for recurrent Glioblastoma. He is (it is reported) under the care of Christies Hospital in Manchester, the leading "cancer hospital" in the North of England, and there can be no doubt that his medical team should be aware that funding for the treatment could be obtained via the "Individual Funding Request" (IFR) route. This was established in April last year when the MHRA decided to include DCVax-l in the IFR system. As many people on this board will know, this is a mechanism that enables currently unlicensed treatments (but which are very likely to be accepted for use by the NHS in the very near future) to be used by the NHS but for which routine funding is not available. Joel's medical team can apply to the "Integrated Care Board" (ICB) for funding for Joel's treatment. Apparently they have not done so or they have done so but the application has been turned down. If so, why?
