With Tower, GF and TSMC foundries Lightwave would pretty much cover the more than 90% of total foundry market. The others are small chicken feed.
Interesting to see which Global Fortune 500 are tied to these three suppliers. .
Customers like AWS, Nvidia, Google, Meta are all tied into one of these three foundries with their huge ‘ demand’ for very high speed, low power optical engines capable of handling 400 Gigabits per second per lane modulators and beyond.Don’t think they can allow their peers to beat them to it!
